The Crawford family have a history steeped in pedigree cattle breeding, Rathkeeland being one of the leading Pedigree Shorthorn Herds in Ireland during the 1960's. The Rathkeeland and Littlemount Limousin Herds were founded back in 1980 with the importation of two females from the Pomapadour herd one of the leading herds in France today.

Day one of Balmoral Show saw Crawford Brothers take the Interbreed 2010 after winning the Female Champion, Individual Champion, Group Champion, the Overall Limousin Champion and the Champion Group of Three with four first prizes in total.

Crawford Family Celebrates 30 Years of Limousin Breeding
The Crawford Family has celebrated 30 years of breeding pedigree Limousin cattle with a special reception at Parliament Buildings, Stormont.
